Adobe has introduced a new animated video app for iPad on Thursday called Adobe Voice. It allows you to create and share engaging video stories by adding a combination of recorded voice, music, imagery and motion graphics as well as effects. Adobe is using the storytelling app as a tool for creating presentation for broad target audience from students to professionals.

Once you start the app, Adobe Voice shows a blank template or a pre-loaded one and it also proposes titles for the video as well. Once a template is selected, it displays a wide range of options where each slide begins with a recording of the user’s voice and background music. Once done, users can also share it immediately over Facebook, Twitter and Adobe’s Creative Cloud platform.

Umang Bedi, Managing Director, South Asia, Adobe Systems, said in a release that:

“Adobe Voice puts the power of Creative Cloud’s industry-leading video and audio technology into the hands of the masses. Our move to Creative Cloud has given us a much broader canvas for innovation and attracted many new users to Adobe. We believe Adobe Voice, and other mobile apps expected in the next few months, will continue the momentum we’re seeing.”

Some of the interesting features of Adobe Voice include: story starters and example videos which allows users to browse through a shared-community video feed, a collection of over 25,000 icons, Adobe’s own cache of licensed image content, a graphics-engine based on After Effects, pre-loaded animated themes such as dusty chalkboard drawing style, curated background music and a credits as well as attribution page.

You can download Adobe Voice app from the App Store at free of cost. It is compatible with iPad 2 or higher version running on iOS7.
